About the Department

Tamil Department was started in the year 1992. Initially the classes were handled by day college teachers. In 2001 a guest lecturer was included and in 2002 two lecturers were appointed.

Literary association conducts following competitions for the students:

Speech
Rangoli
Music Competition
Poetry writing
