About the Department

Department of Mathematics has at present two staff members who were appointed as Lecturers in the academic year 2003-2004. They handle classes on Statistics, Business Mathematics and Operation Research for B.B.A., B.I.S.M and B.Sc. (Bio-Chemistry) students and allied mathematics paper for B.Sc. (Physics & Chemistry) students in S.I.V.E.T. day College. The also handle allied mathematics and statistics papers for B.Sc (Computer Science) students and Mathematics foundations and statistics fro M.C.A. students.

The faculty have attended a number of seminars, summer schools, orientation courses and refresher courses. Special Classes are being conducted for the poor and slow learners.

A series of tests are conducted for the students in theory and practicals separately before the final University Examinations.
